Welcome to ESHESA 2570: Team and Organizational Leadership!

Hello all!

My name is Chelsea Bruchs and I am a 4th year student, studying Psychology with minors in Leadership Studies and Italian. I am from Brookville, Ohio, a small town outside of Dayton. I have one sister, Aliza, and an adopted little brother, Dylan. I love my family, which includes my adorable 2 lb teacup yorkie, Bella.

I have had a very dynamic experience at Ohio State. I jumped in early and decided to get involved the summer before my freshman year. I was one of 80 first year students selected to participate in the Leadership Collaborative. This experience helped to shape my entire undergraduate career by giving me unique professional experiences, for example, my job in Undergraduate Admissions. I took advantage of leadership opportunities through the Office of First Year Experience, serving as a facilitator for the camps program as well as the Leadership Collaborative. This summer I was given an internship with FYE to help plan Convocation and the Columbus Welcome Event. This gave me a real look into what being a professional in the field of Higher Education will be like.

On campus, I am the president of my sorority, Delta Delta Delta. I am a member of the Student-Alumni Council and serve on the University Events Committee. I serve as a University Ambassador where I get to share my love of this university with all visiting potential students.

After graduation, I plan on going to graduate school for Higher Education and Student Affairs. My top grad programs are University of South Carolina, University of Tennessee, Georgia, and Penn State. I plan to focus my study on the student affairs side of Higher Education.

I am very excited about the opportunity to get to know each of you individually! I will be here as a resource so if you have any questions at all, please let me know.
